Beer-can chicken


A larger chicken (5-6 lbs or larger) may require a tall-boy

Be sure to put the bird/tripod on a shallow cooking pan/tray (disposable is good)

Use “indirect heat”. That is to say: use the BBQ as a oven

Here is one recipie…but the bottom line is to put some oil and seasoning on the bird and cook for about 20 min per pound
