Baby Carrots

Look like a champ. Easy to make. Marginally healthy. Delicious.

  • 1 pound bag of baby carrots
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pats
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt


  1. Get a saucepan and add 1/2 inch water, butter, sugar, and salt
  2. Add the carrots to that and bring to a boil
  3. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 8 min
  4. Uncover and raise heat to medium…turn as needed
  5. Reduce the water to almost none
